Pain shapes the story, but it doesn’t write the ending. Pain is the best gift that nobody asks for. You can’t help someone who isn’t looking for help or willing to change. To love someone is to see them for who they are without trying to change them. Every compliment is an insult to someone. A diagnosis is not a death sentence—it is a pathway toward healing. Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured. A healthy person wants 10,000 things; a sick person wants only one. Pain is a request for change. Links Mentioned in This Episode Follow Our Team Joshua Fields Millburn
