Married At First Sight’s Andrea Thompson has opened up about losing 13kg due to her struggles with ‘anxiety’ since her time on the truth TV show.
The skilled photographer, 51, rose to fame on the 2024 series of the Channel Nine dating experiment, where she ‘married’ love interest Richard Sauerman.
Despite initially appearing to be the right match, they began to clash and struggled to see eye to eye during rows, resulting in their eventual break-up.
Now, Andrea has opened up concerning the toll appearing on the show took on her as she admitted she has struggled with ‘anxiety’ since filming this system.
She took to her Instagram Stories on Friday to host a fan Q&A, where she was asked about her weight reduction and body transformation.

When asked about her weight reduction ‘secret’, Andrea told how she has lost 13kg since her on-screen wedding, but admitted that much of it was right down to anxiety and stress.
She explained: ‘Have lost around 13kg because the wedding. A variety of that was anxiety sadly but I even have been doing gym classes for 1.5 years.’
Andrea’s friend also recently addressed the star’s fitness regime in addition to the anxiety she felt concerning the show airing.
‘Andrea has been going to the gym for over a 12 months, she lost 5 kilos while on the show, after which the remaining may very well be credited to anxiety concerning the show airing,’ a source recently told Daily Mail Australia.

Timothy was paired with Lucinda Light on MAFS’ eleventh series but they decided to only be friends on the show, and remain near this present day.
Timothy has also been seen spending time with Andrea in recent weeks and she or he even stayed at his house, with fans becoming convinced they were dating.
However, each Timothy and Andrea have shut down the rumours and insisted they are only good friends.
During the Q&A, Andrea was once more hit by questions on her bond with Timothy, and shared a video insisting they’ll never ‘be intimate’.

She said: ‘Man, I’ve never had so many questions on a Tim and I thing and folks not believing that we’re friends.
‘Tim jogs my memory of my brother. The first minute I met him, he is precisely like my brother so I understood him, I got him.
‘I even have to let you know, I don’t need to get intimate with someone who jogs my memory of my brother! So Tim and I is not going to be intimate, we is not going to kiss on the lips.
‘He is certainly one of my best friends and has got me through some pretty tough times recently and I like him, but I do not love him.’

Timothy previously addressed the romance rumours after Andrea stayed over at his house, insisting they slept in several bedrooms.
‘Andrea got here and visited me. She was actually going to see Lucinda, and she or he crashed at my place,’ he explained.
‘Her and her daughter stayed in my room, I crashed on the couch. Andie’s got a fantastic heart and soul.’
Andrea previously said the ‘better part of the experiment’ for her was the lifelong friends she’s made with a few of the forged, including Timothy’s ex Lucinda.
