Kelly Osbourne clarifies she NEVER used Ozempic to lose baby weight, but says the diabetes medication is a ‘miracle drug in the proper hands’

Kelly Osbourne is adamant she lost her post-baby weight on her own, but she’s not criticizing anyone who might need assistance to shed greater than a couple of unwanted kilos.

The podcast host, 39, who was recently spotted stepping out for a family dinner along with her partner Sid Wilson and their son Sidney, about 16 months, spoke about her weight reduction journey while discussing the family’s recent Osbourne Media House and The Osbournes Podcast.

‘I just need to make clear, I’ve never taken Ozempic,’ she told People regarding rumors she had turned to the Diabetes type II medication, which also promotes weight reduction.

‘I do not know what Ozempic does to you aside from what I saw it do to my mom,’ she said.

‘I believe that it’s the miracle drug in the proper hands.’

Kelly Osbourne, 39, denied using Ozempic following her 85 pound postpartum weight reduction, but defended those that turn to the product for help; Kelly seen left in February 2024 and right in May 2023

Sharon Osbourne, 71, revealed she had lost 42 kilos using the GLP-1 or glucagon-like peptide-1 drug that has develop into popular with celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, but says she now not takes the medication.

It is commonly seen as a final hope solution for a lot of struggling to get to a healthy weight.

‘The pros outweigh the cons, and when you really do research, the form of medication and what it could do for you cognitively and what it does for the remainder of your body, like I said, it is a miracle drug,’ the previous reality star claimed.

Because the medication lowers inflammation within the body, scientists consider this class of medication could possibly be effective in slowing the progression of neurogenerative conditions similar to Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.

Osbourne said she doesn’t understand why so many persons are critical of those that reap the benefits of the medication.

‘For some reason, society is attempting to paint it out to be a nasty thing. And I do not understand why,’ she said

‘If you’ll want to lose some weight, who cares the way you do it, so long as you are doing it in a healthy way.’

To lose the additional 85 kilos she was carrying around after giving birth to her son, Osbourne said she ‘cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight.’

She also recently admitted she turned to supplements including, ‘peptides’ and ‘vitamins’ to drop the load, but didn’t go into specifics about which products she used.

Peptides for weight reduction include Semaglutide, the most important element in Ozempic and its sister product, Wegovy, which helps curb food cravings.

In some studies, the medication has also curbed cravings for alcohol.

Liraglutide, known under the brand name Saxenda, is a peptide that reduces appetite and Tirzepatide, often called Mounjaro, has been successful in treating each diabetes and obesity based on Healthline.
