Joe Lindner, a German fitness influencer, also often known as Joesthetics, recently passed away at a young age of 30.

The reason reported for his death is Aneurysm. Aneurysm is a bulge within the weak area of a blood vessel, which ends up in ballooning of that area to greater than 50% of the blood vessels normal diameter.

(Acc. to John Hopkins research,

Aneurysm generally keeps increasing in size, which progressively weakens the vessel wall, and might result in rupture (bursting). With rupture, life-threatening haemorrhage (uncontrolled bleeding), and possibly death, may result. That’s why stopping rupture is the essential goal of aneurysm prevention.

Aneurysm might be brought on by multiple aspects:

  • Old age
  • Family history
  • Genetic reasons
  • Atherosclerosis (hardening of arteries with plaque)
  • Hyperlipidaemia
  • Smoking
  • Diabetes
  • Obesity
  • Trauma or injury
  • Substance abuse

Aneurysm may or may not show any symptoms. Symptoms that will occur with several types of aneurysms may include, but will not be limited to:

  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA): Constant pain in abdomen, chest, lower back, or groin area
  • Cerebral Aneurysm: Sudden severe headache, nausea, vomiting, visual disturbance, lack of consciousness
  • Common Iliac Aneurysm: Lower abdominal, back, and/or groin pain
  • Femoral and Popliteal Artery Aneurysm: Easily palpated (felt) pulsation of the artery positioned within the groin area (femoral artery) or on the back of the knee (popliteal artery), pain within the leg, sores on the feet or lower legs.)

Lindner’s girlfriend told that 3 days before his death, he had persistent neck pain. He is suspected to have suffered from Carotid Aneurysm. A carotid artery aneurysm is a bulge in one in every of the arteries supplying blood to your brain and nearby structures. Atherosclerosis is a typical cause. A carotid artery aneurysm may result in a TIA (mini stroke) or stroke.

The survival rate for those with a ruptured brain aneurysm is about 60% (40% die). For those that survive and get well, about 66% have some everlasting neurological defect.

Acc. to studiesthe worldwide death rates attributable to aortic aneurysm is around 200,000 to almost 500,000 deaths worldwide annually, and half the victims are younger than 50.

There is little doubt in the actual fact, that Lindner was repeatedly using steroids to keep up his chiselled physique. And, abuse of anabolic steroids might have been a reason for aneurysm development.

Acc. to a studyOral steroid usage is a crucial risk factor for aneurysm, independent of other risk aspects of atherosclerosis.

Lindner also earlier told that he had been diagnosed with rippling muscle disease, a rare genetic condition that causes muscles to turn into normally sensitive to movement or pressure.
