Classic Physique Athletes to Watch

Below are athletes prone to contend for the crown in Classic Physique:

German Pastor

German Pastor is the favourite going into the show because he’s from the host country and has Olympia experience. His last pro win got here on the 2023 Empro Pro (also held in Alicante), which qualified him for the 2023 Classic Physique Olympia, where he finished outside the highest 15. This will probably be his 2024 season debut.

Alexander Westermeier

Alexander Westermeier was within the 2022 Olympia but didn’t qualify for the 2023 Olympia in 4 attempts. His best result was second on the 2023 Sheru Classic France Pro.

Westermeier’s most up-to-date contest was on the 2023 Prague Pro, ending in third place. This show is his first appearance of the 2024 season.

Andre Gerstner

Gerstner is the dark horse of the competition. According to  Gerstner first competed as an amateur in May 2023. By the tip of that summer, he earned his pro card and entered shows.

Gerstner ranked eighth overall on the Empro Pro but was never a threat to win a professional show that season. That seems different now that he has had time to coach and adjust to the professional level of competition. Do not be surprised if he makes the primary callout at this event.
